There is coffee, tea, juice, crisps and sweeties available to buy in the little kitchen where you pay. Kerri that works in the shop will happily take messages for Sarah or Kim, if they look like they are too busy to talk. If you have any queries or questions then please talk to Kerri and she can pass on any messages.
Kerri will also take any bookings for forthcoming events on the calendar. Everything on the programme of events has limited space so please book early, so as not to be disappointed. Remember also to book your lessons with Kerri, if you are only coming fortnightly or monthly.
Pony Club:
You do not have to have your own pony to join the Pony Club. You can hire a pony from Cruan at a rate of £10 per evening. There are Pony Club evenings at Cruan on a Tuesday up until December. After the festive season there will be a new calendar of events, and Pony Club should be held weekly again. Remember that you do not have to attend all the Pony Club events, just the ones you want to go to.
Parental commitment at the Pony Club is vitally important. Parents are expected to come along and help, as the Pony Club could not function without your commitment. You can not drop your child off and then pick them up when they are finished. You are part of a club and you do have to share in your side of the work and duties. The children are encouraged to catch, tack up and groom on their own, but parents obviously need to be there to help and supervise.
Pony Club games are held every 2nd Thursday at the market Stance. Only 4 ponies will be transported each week. You will need to get your names to me quickly. If you do not book early enough for one week, your name will be put to the top of the list for the following week.
Ponies are also available to hire from Cruan for any Pony Club clinics, camps or rallies. Once again there will be limited ponies available so book early!
Insurance:
Our insurance policy at Cruan does not allow children of any age to enter the Arena if they are not riding. If parents choose to ignore this warning, someone will be injured. Please be vigilant and keep all children in the viewing area. Please also use the side door to enter and leave the building.
As part of our insurance policy we will also have to ask all clients to fill out new consent forms. These will handed to you at your next lesson. Please fill them in and hand them back by the end of the night. All forms to be completed by 14th November
E-Mail addresses:
I would appreciate it if all clients would please send me an e-mail with your address, if they have one. This will allow me to send you changes in the programme and any newsletters.
