 Children:

Cruan Riding School runs lessons for Children and Teenagers every Saturday with fully qualified instructors. Children learn how to ride and care for ponies in complete safety, despite the weather, in our indoor school. All our staff have training in the latest Child Protection practices and can guarantee not only the safest possible training for youngsters, but also the very best riding techniques.

During all school holidays we hold organised Activity Days for children age 4 to 16 these include, grooming and horsecare, gymkhana games, riding lessons and show jumping with badges, certificates and rosettes.

Adults:

Adult group lessons are held every Saturday at 3.30pm and Wednesday at 11.00am. Anyone welcome to come along and join in. Private or semi-private lessons run daily for complete beginners to experienced riders and can be booked at any time.

Cruan Pony Club meet on a Tuesday evenings and hold regular clinics, competitions and rides throughout the year. New members always welcome.

As you will all be aware, Cruan is becoming busier and busier, which is great news for everyone! However, we have to ensure that we are able to make all our customers happy. If there is anything that you wish to see happening at Cruan, that is not already on offer, please feel free to write or e-mail, with your suggestions. You can also phone Sarah on 01856 761271 any weekday between 9am and 10pm.Leave a message and she will get back to you as soon as she can.

Group Lessons:

The group lessons are now full and there is a waiting list. Anyone who is not sure whether they will come every week or fortnight should let me know now, so that I can let the space go to other clients.

Fortnightly or monthly may be an option for many, but I must know this in advance so that I can fill the other weeks with other clients. If this is an option that you wish to choose then I will have to ask you to book your 4 dates in advance, so that I know when the available spaces will be. Please see Kerri in the kitchen and book your dates. If your dates are not booked then there will not be a space for you to ride.

Children are likely to be put on different ponies each time they attend the Centre. It is not good for a child to always ride the same pony and it is unfair to other clients. Requests for specific ponies are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
