PONY CLUB HIRE (this is available to any of our Cruan Clients)

If you are hiring a pony for any pony club activity, there are several ground rules that must be adhered to:

* It is essential to let me know in advance if you wish a pony for Tuesday or Thursday nights or for camps and rallies as it will affect where the pony is turned out that morning. There is a black diary in the building and sheets on the pony club notice board on which to pre-book. If you have not let me know in advance that you want a pony there will be no pony available.

* If you book a pony and do not cancel you will be charged FULL PRICE .(charges are £15 per evening and £30 per day. If more than 2 days, cost will be £25 per day for all rallies, camps and competitions)

* Tuesday rides are at 6.30 and 7.45 pm. Thursday rides (games) are held at the mart, riding at 7pm, we have to leave Cruan at 6.2Opm. If the games are held at Cruan the children must be ready by 7pm. For both nights, it is necessary for you to be here at least 30minutes before you ride or leave in order to catch and tack up your pony.

* No child should be allowed to go up and catch or turn out ponies without adult supervision.

* After riding, the pony requires to be attended to and put back in the field or stable. This too MUST be done under adult supervision.

* For Pony Club activities at venues other than Cruan, it is the parent's responsibility to make sure the pony and its tack is ready to be transported and afterwards to come back to Cruan to put the pony out and put away its tack.

* If for any reason you have to swap tack you must ensure that it is put back exactly where you found it.

Pony Club involves the care of the pony as well as riding. This is the difference from riding school lessons where the child is only expected to turn up.
